Horrible customer service and account handling.
A client of mine upgraded my account license from 3 sites to 1000 sites. A few months later, I realised that I couldn't update the plugin so asked them, and apparently they transferred the license to the ex client without even asking me. I had checked with them BEFORE I purchased it so there wouldn't be any issues in the future (I have email/chat transcript proof).
Whatever, stuff happens. Eventually I just gave up and decided to upgrade the account again. Except I cannot find the option to upgrade anywhere on the account, nor can I find the sites I have installed on. I reached out to support and they hemmed and hawwed and took a week to tell me that they were transferring the ticket to their billing section.
6 days later (today), I still haven't received a response from them. And this is to upgrade the license for the second time. If this is the way they treat loyal customers, you can only imagine how they treat new customers.
edit: apparently I cannot explain exactly how I feel about their customer service

To be clear: Elementor itself has a great approach, good usabilty and makes it a breeze to set up WordPress sites - in principle.
This is true, as long as one doesnt run into any proplems. From this point on you're stuck. Support isn't worth the term at all, dont expect any real help. In fact this is one of the worst 'supports' ever encountered! Even as a pro user you have to wait for days to count 'till the first response - which then is always (!) completely useless and states the demand of 'further information': Screenshots or screencasts and credetials. This even for the simplest things where the problem is more than clear and even if screenshots were already provided. After two or three more answers theres the info to reach out to second tier staff and it quite begins from the start (after some more days, of course). In the end theres no solution at all or at best bet some 'sorry, no solution this time, but we hand it over to our developers'. Nine out of ten cases end that way. Even for clear detected bugs!
Still true after months since some head of Elementor statet 'to make it better'.
Sorry, but that completely annoying support division makes the whole thing a total pain in the ass.
Everyone who hasnt already started with Elementor, please stay away from it and make a better choice! For me personally every new Project wont be with them at all. For some of the existing ones i have to stay - sadly.
Some four or five years ago this was a great piece of software with great support. The latter has decreased ever since. Not worth it any more.

When I started using Elementor, 3 years ago, I thought it's a revolutionary pagebuilder. I could focus on more creative parts because the technical parts became much easier owing to Elementor. Also, my clients loved it because they could change their own website easily. I was happy with it until it was upgraded to version 3.0.
One day, I received dozens of emails from my clients. Layouts and designs of their websites were messed up, they couldn't edit their page any more. It happened because of the upgrade. I checked what happened at WordPress community and fixed the issues.
What I felt at the time was that Elementor completely ignored previous clients and only focused on their new project. I understand that they must have had their own reasons why they had to move on. Probably they had to improve the loading speed and tidy down wrapping structures. I agree with it. But they should have considered previous clients.
I had made more than 30 websites with Elementor and had to fix all the issues one by one for free. I couldn't charge my clients for the glitches because I value trust the most in my business. I just feel betrayed by this company.
It's been 8 month since the traumatic upgrade, but still I face little issues here and there. Now whenever I see the notice of Elementor upgrade, I feel traumatic. I hope Elementor listens to their clients more attentively.

Decent product...when it works, and it often doesn't. I have been using Elementor for quite a while now so that should be testament to its usefulness. It is powerful and highly integratable to a range of plugins. That said, the support is slow (really slow) and they seem to always need a few emails to we get anywhere. This means that any issues you have, even small ones (and you will have them), can take a while to resolve. This is not a one off, this is every time and way before the pandemic started. It doesn't do my site performance any good either.
BUT, it is powerful and allows anybody to create beautiful looking pages. If they could just improve their support, provide guidance around performance with Elementor and make a more stable product it'd be a full blown 5+.
UPDATE: Since the promise of better support on the 11th the support has just got worse and worse. Now blaming other products even though when completely removing those products the problem still exists. I would like to say this is a single issue but it seems common practice to not properly read support requests and make useless suggestions and take ages to come back to you. Seriously, if you need decent support Elementor WILL let you down. Doesn't matter how good a product is on paper if it doesn't work and getting support is painful and long-winded.
I'm using Elementor for a couple of years and it changed the way I build websites. I still do a lot of custom coding, but my development process is so much faster with Elementor.
Is it perfect? Well, is anything web related perfect? Is WordPress perfect? Of course there might be some glitches or bugs now and then, and some additional features I'd like to see included, but overall it's the best page builder I've ever used.
Having been designing websites for more than 15 years now we had to rely on spending endless hours on coding or using existing themes. Elementor helps us build websites from scratch as we imagine it, the price to pay for Elementor Pro is insignificant in the grand scheme of things of how much time and money we save overall. One of the best things to happen to the Internet since Google!

Shout out to Rabina for going above and beyond for solving my issue! Sure, Elementor comes with its drawbacks. Support is not 24/7 but when you do get a response they are on it!
Everything is great until you try out building certain segments in Accordion! You will literally rage-quit Elementor, especially if you are a paying customer!
I guess it's nice if you have no clue about web depeloping. I haven't tried other page builders but I've read that Elementor is the easiest to use for newbies (like mysefl).
However, I would have appreciated to be told that it would be so freaking bad. Plenty of bugs and non working things. And... Fastest page builder? I'm afraid not. It's slow as hell. It has taken me over 50 hours to learn how to adequately optimize my website. And it's still not as fast as it could be.
It gives random troubles on things that worked fine. Also, things that look perfect on the editor, look really bad when actually using the page. I've been more than 300 hours using the program and designed 3 websites with it. I kind of have an idea of what I'm saying.
I forgot to mention: the customer service is TERRIBLE. THE 24/7 SERVICE IT'S A BIG, BIG LIE. They take about 7 days to get to you. I'm not even kidding. And they don't even get your problems solved: "I don't know what's happening, I will contact a manager" - Goodbye.
Awful. I will learn CSS and use a more complicated plugin if necessary, but this plugin is literally insulting. I wanted to put two stars but I with 1 at least I will try to compensate all the fake reviews.
Has a lot of neat things but some really simple and needed stuff just isn't there. If you're thinking about building a ecommerce site, elementor won't allow you to touch the checkout, cart, or order confirmation page. There is also pretty much no way to customize the account page. The integration with woocommerce is terrible.
I find that simple stuff like email forms in a popup doesn't work and their solution to that problem is to "dedicate a whole page to an email submit form".
They're customer support is also god awful. It takes DAYS for them to respond, and when they do, it really feels like they're intentionally avoiding your problem and asking irrelevant questions to procrastinate helping you out.
The best page builder I've ever used, Man the most thing I love about this plugin is the community and the wide adopt, I can easily integrate any wp plugin I want, but it still need some improvements on the live editing for desktop to make 100% front end editor.
The best website builder for wordpress.
Amazing plugin, you can already design professionally looking websites by using just this free plugin and a good theme.
